Arrived timely and in good fashion. This replaces one that broke, but great winds will break anything. This is fully adjustable for height and angle, and would recommend to anyone mounting a flag on the house.

If you use a decent heavy duty flag, you need this holder instead of the flimsy plastic that will not hold up.

I purchased this flagpole bracket several years ago and I can report to you that it is holding up just fine. I have it anchored into the brick siding on our home and it has withstood every gail force wind that has come our way in the last several years. Since it is aluminum it does not rust or corrode. The paint is high-quality and not fading or chipping at all. The screw knob on the side makes it very easy to switch out flagpoles and holds the pole securely in place. The bracket is held in position with large teeth and corresponding holds in the other side, so slippage is impossible. This bracket is very well designed. I am very happy with this purchase and highly recommend it. A great value!

When I purchased the flagpole bracket, it was advertised as 1". It is actually 1 1/4". So, rather than the flagpole fitting snug in the basket, it's loose. The tension screw does little to secure the pole.

Does the trick! Never comes loose, easy to install, doesn't rust, holds up to strong winds. If faced with a need to purchase another flagpole bracket, I'd buy this one again in a heartbeat.
