Description:

This sturdy flagpole has a 3" dia butt tapering to a 2" at the top, with 20ft of exposed height. Flagpole consists of 5 silver anodized, seamless aluminum tubing sections which swedge together providing a smooth, tapered appearance. Wall thickness is 16 gauge. This kit is the same Tapered Homesteader kit sold by our competitors at prices from $250 to $290. In addition to the flagpole, this kit includes a 3" gold anodized aluminum ball ornament, a 3x5ft sewn nylon US flag with embroidered stars (Manufactured in the USA by Valley Forge Flag Co.), a cast aluminum truck with pulley, a solid braided polypropylene halyard (rope) with 2 strong flag snaps, a casy nylon rope cleat with mounting screws, a heavy duty ground sleeve, and 5 silver anodized, seamless aluminum tubin sections. This product can be installed without expert assistance or a crane. The ground sleeve must be cemented into the ground to hold the pole vertically. Installation instructions are included.

Very nice flagpole. Solid. So much better than cheaper 20'. 3" butt on this one. one inch makes a big deal. Other 20' poles are only two inch butt. Don't even look at the cheap ones. This is the one that will last you. Also will stand up to higher winds. 3" diameter butt tapering to a 2" diameter at the top Well worth the money. Looks great. If you go with the cheaper one. Put a piece of 10' PVC pipe inside of it. It will give it more strength. The flag is made in the USA. That's why the top of the flag is longer than the bottom by a 1 3/4 inch. The flag represents our country. How sad we can't even make a good flag.

The flag pole arrived with the top ball broken. I was able to fix it with glue though. The pole sections come flared and tapered to fit together. One of the sections was not tapered, I had to file it to get it to fit. One section was "wrinkled" on the flared end as if it got caught in the machine. The male end still fit into it but you can notice the wrinkle in the pole. One nice surprise was the bottom sections were 3" in diameter tapering to 2" at the top. The supplied PVC pipe was very thin, I just bought a replacement for $5 at a plumbing supply store. Over all I was happy with the flag pole it is very sturdy.

We ordered this flagpole and flags for two smaller flagpoles. The quality is much superior that the poles sold in the stores near us. The desplay is beautiful. Catlady75

My dad wanted a new flag pole for his residence and wanted me to check online for one. Of course Amazon had one with the best reviews at a fantastic price. I had it shipped right to his door. He had it installed in no time. He is thrilled to death with his purchase!

Flag pole arrived in good shape. However, when assembling it was apparent that the flange-formed end of the top section was not fabricated correctly and this caused this section to not properly align with with the rest of the pole assembly. I was able to make the needed correction to the flange so all sections now match and are straight. Design is fine but workmanship was lacking on my unit.
NOTE: I also added PVC pipe to the inside diameter of the pole for added strength against gusty Kansas winds. Would recommend this step during assembly/installation.
