The Flag of British Columbia, Canada is based upon the shield of the provincial arms of British Columbia. At the top of the flag is a rendition of the Union Flag, defaced in the centre by a crown, representing the province's origins as a British colony, with a setting sun below. was introduced on June 14, 1960 by Premier W. A. C. Bennett, and was first flown on board the BC Ferries vessel Queen of Sidney.

Flag is well-assembled: Cut straight, with double and quadruple seams.

But it's a thin, single layer of polyester, whose colors aren't as saturated as they appear in the thumbnail image. If you flew it outdoors, I'd expect it to both fade and rip before long.

For the price, it's fine for my purposes -- hanging on an interior wall.

Purchased from BlockBusterCostumes, who shipped this to California almost immediately.
