My United States flag is attached to a 1.5 inch EMT pole. Because I used electrical conduit as a flag pole, the diameter is slightly larger. A few seconds with a dremel tool, on the inside of the clamps and swivels, and they fit perfectly on my home made flagpole. I was glad to find this item, as I had searched for a while. This item is as advertised. It works great. Follow instructions (simple). You will be rewarded with a flag that follows the wind (our's changes directions all the time).
The person who invented and manufactured this in the USA deserves to be commended.

This item was shipped very quickly. I installed it in less than ten minutes. My neighbor liked it so much, he had me order him one. I highly recommend this product, get one and you never have to worry about a wrapped flag or keep going out to unfurl. I proud of my flag flying free and it has saved me alot of unwrapping.
