This did not work at all until I opened it up and connected the battery properly. When functioning the light is so dim it is barely visible - you could not tell it was on vs a little ambient light from a porch light down the street. The design is stupid - it has only one AAA battery in a relatively large housing. They could have put two cells and/or a better led in there. I have a single AAA flashlight that is a flamethrower compared to this turd.

Don,t buy it it is a waste of money. Doesn't last but a couple of hours and not very bright. I had to buy new clamps they where to small
To fit my standard size flagpole. total waste.

Even putting it near the flag it does not light it up enough. Does not do our flag justice at night

Received two of these lights today, and the first ones solar panel snapped off right away while I was adjusting it. As mentioned in another review, alomst impossible to get a decent angle on a flag with these lights, much of the illumination is wasted.
