The frame is a nice thick plastic...very sturdy. Holes lined up perfectly (NYS Plates). The frame sits on top of the plate...it isn't a sleeve type frame like that of most dealer frames. Makes sure plate is flatten prior to installation so everything sits right. Careful not to over tighten the plate bolts...it may crack the frame...there is some give but remember...its plastic not rubber.

Purchased a couple of these truely patriotic plate frames and think they look great on our new Hyundai Sonata. That's right a Korean owned company, but this model is assembled right here in the U S of A in Montgomery Alabama!!!

It is a good looking attachmet to my truck. It is a lot better than putting bumper stickers or other decals on the back of my vehicle. It just is a subtle way to show some pride. While it is plastic, the frame did not feel flimsy. It was easy to install and lined up perfectly, so it is well made.
