Finally got one that will work. Dec 23, 2009
By Don This pole does the job. I have a 3X5 flag, but this pole has adjustable rings so it works with different sizes of flags. The adjustable rings slide up and down on the pole to accommodate your size flag and easily and securely attaches to the flag's grommet holes. My flag has flown on some real windy days and it does not get tangled on or wrapped around this pole. Enjoy!

It really works! Jul 22, 2010
By Magnum Fan We are completely impressed with this spinning flag pole. At first it seemed counter-intuitive that a spinning flag pole would PREVENT the flag from being tangled, but it certainly does work. We have flown flags for almost twenty years and have untangled more than our share of flags...even on a seemingly calm day. We finally said "enough is enough" and set out to research alternative poles. In the three months since we purchased this flag pole, we have had some major wind storms, really windy nights, and gusty days with nary a tangle. As a bonus, the oak colored aluminum pole looks nice with our home. In our opinion, spinning flag poles are the only way to go!

Good quality .only the clips were too big and would not hold the flag to the pole. Feb 06, 2011
By Cheryl Moore I did like the spinning flag pole on quality and looks. The only downfall were the clips holes were too big and it would not hold the flag to the pole. So my dad improvised and we solved it. It was not worth sending it back or waiting on a new one to be shipped. This was my personal decision as my dad is very good at making things work. I wish the company would double check but this could have been an isolated issue.

Like the Look... Jan 24, 2011
By Elliott I love the look of this pole. From a short distance, it really does look like you have a wooden flag pole - and I fly mine from the second story, so you REALLY can't tell its not wood. However, and maybe this is a flag pole issue in general, but I had to use a plastic make-shift loop on the bottom hole of my flag as the attachments that came with this pole didn't like my standard 3' x 5' 2-hole flag. Hmph.
For the look and durability, I'd give it 5-stars, for the flag attaching, I'd give it 2 stars... but it's not that big of a deal once it's up and flying.

But how does it work? Jul 23, 2011
By J. Cohen The flagpole came with no instructions. The instructions were hard to find, but they're at: [..]
I'm still not sure exactly how to attach the bottom grommet and will have to see with the flag in hand. The clip top grommet to metal hook makes sense. The slide plastic ring up pole makes sense. The tighten screw so that the ring can still turn makes sense. The match the grommet with the hole in the ring does not. It may make more sense when I'm holding the flag. If not, I'll get help. A picture would have gone a long way here.
The flagpole itself is really nice for the price. It's not just "oak colored", but also patterned with a wood grain, which gives it a great appearance while still being light weight. The oak look finial is nice and non-reflective.
