This is a fine flag. It's very well made. As the product description says all the stripes are individually stitched (double stitched actually). The colors are vibrant. I've had several flags with a similar method for attaching to the flag pole and they all failed rather quickly. This flag however uses a leather loop sewn into the flag itself and that's what will make this flag last a long time. Most other flags have a plastic loop that hooks the flag to the pole and these fail very quickly. I noticed come mild criticism due to a white tag (not a label) on the flag. It is there but it isn't very noticeable even when fairly close. And if you were determined to remove it, an exacto knife or any other sharp instrument would allow it to trimmed off.
I gave this flag 5 stars because I am very satisfied with it. But one thing buyers should know is that the flag does not come with a 13 position bracket that requires 4 screws, it comes with a white two position nylon bracket. That is great for flying the flag at 45 degrees or 90 degrees. Amazon should update this info.
You should be quite happy with this flag.

Very nice flag, but come on, why not make the pole and bracket in the States as well? I think at least on the purchase of the American Flag, I should not fund the Chinese military.
Other issue I have with the flag is that the advertisement tag is obnoxiously large, and not removeable. A 1" x 2 1/2" logo tag in white stands out like a sore thumb against the blue.
However it is a nice flag and has a good feel. The sewn stripes and embroidered stars do give it some texture.

This is a beautifully crafted flag with rich colors and nicely embroidered stars. The pole is sturdy and handsome and the flag flies gracefully in the breeze and hangs nicely when there is no breeze. I am very pleased with this purchase indeed.

I originally started to order a different American flag on Amazon and noticed that was made in China. It seems that this most basic bit of Americana should be purchased from a company that actually makes them here in the USA.
The flag itself seems well made. The Stars are sewn rather than screened. I like the spinning type of pole. that prevents the flag from wrapping itself up. I want to see "Old Glory" unfurled and flowing in the wind not wrapped up around a pole. This style pole works perfectly.
Cons
What I'm not crazy about is the quality of the pole was not very good. It had lots of small knot holes and was not straight.
The bracket that the flag came with is not the one pictured. (see my pictures in customer photos) It is not adjustable and is made in China.
I ended up purchasing Valley Forge 1-Inch Nickel Flag Bracket and I'm very happy with the quality and the look of this flag bracket. I feel it is reasonably priced for the quality. It is also good looking and a perfect fit for this flag kit.
I fly the flag every morning and take it down every night. So far the things that originally bothered me are not really a problem.
Please contact your local Boy Scout Troop for proper retirement of old, faded or tattered flags.

The flag is sewn nicely, but of thinner nylon than expected. The tag is not a big problem as some reviewers complain. Just pull the tag off, it's paper and sewn into a seam. The pole is really sad, it's two piece and the pieces dont fit together very well. Valley Forge should be embarrassed by the pole and bracket, which were made in China. I suggest buying the flag individually (see other Valley Forge products link by item title) and getting a decent pole.
